Atomm, I run SpySweeper on my pc's, the latest version is 5.0.7
When I start the live365 player for GamersRadio ( http://www.live365.com/stations/gamersradiodotcom ) I always get a SpySweeper pop up saying the media content sweeper has blocked content access to:

    Media.fastclick.net

Is Live365 tracking usage with spyware now?

I have SpySweeper block the cookie but allow the page to load, so I am still able to listen to the station.

Just thought you would like to know about this, if you did not know already.
    From the SpySweeper data base:

    Name Fastclick Cookie
    Unique Code 76SKS
    Type Spy Cookie
    Severity Low

    Description

Fastclick Cookie is a cookie that may track the unique visitors to a Web site, as well as their personal preferences.

Yah not too worried about it, but SpySweeper has been working well for me, and it's not like Live365 is the Uber-spy site.

Just some times if you don't mention it, he may not know what's going on with the station from "the out side world"

I didn't know they used fastclick per say, but I did know they use advertising and they track that advertising. IMHO, Fastclick is probably one of the more reputable companies out there.

If you want, you can block it by putting the URL in your host file and pointing it to 127.0.0.1. I use to have a long list of sites I did that with. It's probably one of the best methods I know for not transmitting cookies.

Thanks Duck. Link should work now 🙂

The station is awesome if anyone hasn't listened to is yet!

To tell the truth, that is the reason I posted it. I finally have some time to turn it on while I'm doing my paper work and it did not work.
    (top link did)

And your right, it is very very good.
I was not much for a punk rocker, but I have not heard a single tune that make me want to mute it or change back to GR1.

    Way to go guys!
(And I'm not just blowing smoke because I'm part of GR, I truly do like it)

I condensed both articles from the front page and shot it over to Joe's COD clan site.

Appreciate it. The station is still a work in progress and we need to add a bunch of older 70's/80's stuff still, but we are getting there. 🙂
