I sent in an online petition a couple weeks ago through live365 for this. Today I actually got a letter back from my representative guy at my house. Never really expected that.
Anyways, it sounds like things are moving in a positive direction thankfully.
Yes with the legislation introduced in both the House and Senate, things are looking very positive at the moment. I still expect congress to screw it all up at some point, but I do hold a small amount of hope that it will just get through without issue.
If you take the time to write or call your legislators they will always send you something back. They can't take the chance that you'll get offended from not hearing from them and vote for someone else 😀
On Attack of The Show, a G4 TV pop culture/Internet show, they mentioned that the RIAA may be giving a break to smaller broadcasters for at least two years. Larger ones like Live365 would not get a break though.
