    They are in Russia and pay the appropriate Russian Copyright collectors fee's just as a US Corporation would pay the RIAA member companies. However, The RIAA will not accept the payments because they are too little.

    Sounds like someplace that needs our business. :-)

    wasn't there some other russian website that does the same thing? While I'm all for screwing the RIAA (rat bastards), something about those sites seems a bit sketchy.

    allofmp3.com was the site you are talking about Sarge. This is the "new" site.

    From what I have read, they are paying the RIAA equivilant in Russia and are 100% legal according to Russian law. Think of it as exchange rates for mp3's. :-)
