Hey gang, after visiting Linkin Park's website (linkinpark.com), I noticed they are plugging a new video due out 6/1 for "Breaking the Habit". It also looks like MTV is doing a "making the video" episode on it too. Aside from the musical elements, the lyrics to this song are excellent and has had fans waiting on a video for a while. The video looks to be animated in a gritty fashion, so if you are into this genre of music, I hope you are as excited as I am! 🙂

#3 OK, I've missed something, clue me in please 🙂 -
#4 Atomm can say what he wants... You might do a search of the forums of Linkin Park... 🙂 -
#5 Crud, gonna make me work for it huh? OK LOL -
#6 It's Ok ephil. To each his own...... :-> -
#7 Heh... Apok... I am a LP fan also... Some of us have to like the boy bands 🙂 -
#8 Nonononono, boy bands are preteen bleachblonde people who cant write music and just look cute. A band is a group that writes thier own music, is creative and original, and doesnt dance in unison. 🙂 -
#9 Plus they can draw 🙂 -
#10 Linkin Park was once described as the Band you turned your little sister on to after N'Sync. So basically, they are the N'Sync of Nu-Metal.
And if you were wondering, I use to be a big fan of LP. I had their first album before it was popular. I went to Ozzfest to see them and some other bands. They were so bad and some of the biggest assholes I have ever seen (well, next to the Smashing Pumpkins). That live performance turned me off so bad that I won't even consider playing them on the station, even if I was given the music for free.
Live performance's play a big part of my opinion of a band. It creates a connection that a CD can never do. For instance, my appreciation of APC went up 1000 times after seeing them live. It's just something about that live show.
So there you have it..... -
#11 OMG smashing pumpkins are soooooooooooooooo unbelievably shitty live. It's a real letdown because their studio sound is good. -
#12 Smaching Pumpkins went down when Billy shaved his head... Period... -

I can understand your view. Coming from someone who hasnt seen them live (or anyone else for that matter) I can only judge off of what I hear on the finished CD. I'll shop Kazaa a bit and see if I can find any live sets and give them a whirl. In the end, I love the band for the music and lyrics and you're just WRONG! (ROFL)
