Metallica Back?

I haven't had much interest in the new Metallica Album. I've pretty much written off the band that made me the metal head I am today. However, this article peaks my interest.

The new album released today was produced by Rick Rubin, who I infinately respect as he tried to bring Metallica back to the essecense that made them, Master of Puppets and Ride The Lightning. If this is the case, then I have to take a listen. Will it swing me back as a fan of Metallica? I can't say, but 5 minutes ago I would have said, F&^# Metallica. Now I'm saying, Hmmmm.... We'll see....

This has a few of the songs in their entirety. My headphones at work suck, but so far I really dig Cyanide. I need to give the first few another listen on a better system.

After releasing on Friday, 3 days after the competition, Metallica debuts at #1 for the 5th consecutive time, breaking the previous record of 4 straight #1's.
