Yea, very sad. He's the same age as me. Really makes one think. Could you imagine trying to join a band like Slipknot at this point? Talk about intimidating.
#4 May 27, 2010, 12:30 AM Really sad..... Makes me really appreciate the life I have..... I hope they keep going though. I'd hate the thought of no more Slipknot.....
#5 May 27, 2010, 12:58 PM Yeah, now I am REALLY regretting passing up all the times I could have seen them live...
It's funny you mention that. As a Senior in HS, I was offered Free Stevie Ray Vaughn tickets. I said nah, I'll catch him next time around. There was no next time. About 3 years later, Nirvana comes to town. I said nah, I'll catch them the next time around. There was no next time. Let's just say, I'm either going to see the bands I like or I sure is heck am not going to say I'll catch them the next time around.... hehehe And for the record, Slipknot is one of those bands that you really can't appreciate until you see them live. It's amazing.
It has been confirmed. Paul Gray OD'd on morphine and the synthetic morphine substitute fentanyl. Such a shame....
- No not a shame - He did it to him self - boo fracking hoo -
I have to disagree Duck, sometimes, I could agree with you, but I have found sometimes, the person is warped in the head and its a shame they never fixed that mental issue. For many fixing the mental issue would have caused major differences in life.
#10 Jun 23, 2010, 5:30 PM Duck, I get your point, but I think it's a shame that he did this to himself.... 😛
