Slipknot Unmasked!

    Here's a funny story... A few of us were talking about Slipknot at my last job and this guy walks up, who happens to be a musician.... Well, if you consider a guitarist in a church band a musician.... Anyway, I was talking about how powerful a show they were live and how I had never seen anything like them before....

    So this guy, who is acting like he knows what the hell I'm talking about tells me to check out this band called Apocolypto or something like that because they rock just like slipknot....

    Long winded story, the band he was talking about is the band they put in this video. While they have about 10 members, they are nothing like slipknot.... Then I see this and think, hmmmm, maybe I was wrong.... She rocks! 😈

    First mistake...

    Letting someone from 'church' talk to you about 'Slipknot'... That is just a little odd in itself... Unless it was an open minded church or he was just doing it for the chicks... 😱

    Hey, what can I say.... It just so happens I worked in a record store when it came out.... After hearing it 100+ times a week, you either take your own life or give in and start liking it..... I gave in.... I mean, it's got a beat and you can dance to it, but it wasn't worth killing myself.... At least not back then....

    I did hear that song once in a Family Guy episode which I did not know what he was singing at the time since I never heard it before. Brian's version is better! 🙂
