A 15-year-old has created a free-music service by harnessing YouTube's vast library of music videos.
Muziic, created by teen developer David Nelson, has built an iTunes-like interface on top of YouTube. The service enables users to stream YouTube's music to their PCs without fiddling with videos. Users can build playlists and organize songs in a way similar to iTunes.
I know this will sound like sour grapes, but I had this idea a while back. I found myself listening to the video's at work as if they were radio songs. I thought it would be cool to make a website with playlists.

Atomm, in college for one of my classes we had to design and build a prototype of a product. My group built what is best described as a Tivo. This was in 1996 and Tivo came out in 1997. In fact at one point I looked up the developers of Tivo to ensure none of them were my partners on that project.
I invented the missionary position, but as it turns out, you can't patent that. I tried three times, though. With three different patent clerks. Hot, young, female. . . DUMB patent clerks. 😉
You better check the patents... You might be able to get some money from that bad boy.... :-)
Honestly we never thought of it in the capacity fo a tivo. We had it as a news radio, it would record the news for you to view/listen to at a later time. Of course we were trying to do the task with flash memory, which proved very difficult. It was a cool but ugly product when we were finished, but it worked well.
