And I'm friggin going. So... don't expect me present and playing this Thursday. It isn't everyday the world's best DJ is playing a show within driving distance.

#2 Man that is the worlds best oxymoron. Best DJ.
Sorry but can someone explain how a DJ is considered talent? I truly am not trying to start an argument but how is one DJ any better than another? It is not like they are actually playing the music.
They just stringing music together and do lame announcements. One dance beat sounds like the next for the most part to me. Sorry I guess I am just too old and just âdonât get it.â -
#3 Atomm, Everclear; I send the above message to you two to answer. Atomm, was a DJ and EC is. this should be fun and dont' forget guys, A flame is not a flame until someone cries!!! JK -
#4 Firstly I am not talking actual DJ's on the radio. They are cool.
So what I am talking about is party type DJ's. The dudes that stand there with one hand on a headphone set and the other scratching records. Second I have nothing against DJ's or anything, that is why I said "I truly am not trying to start an argument" I just never understood the DJ thing is all. I see competitions on TV etc.. and think, what the hell is that??? Just seems weird to me.
I understand the basics but to make DJ's like sports stars???? Please explain this to me is all 😉 -
#5 I know, but I am a jerk and an instigator.. -
#6 DJ's? Aren't those the guys that try to deafen you when you're trying to catch an STD at the singles bar?
I assume you're not speaking of radio DJ's. I've seen a few of them, but only by accident, and I wouldn't turn my head to see one if he was standing next to me. The phrase, "A face made for radio." comes to mind.
I don't listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but I'll see almost any performer live, as long as he or she shows more ability than is seen at most high school talent shows. . .thus, I won't soon be visiting any events featuring a "DJ". The whole CONCEPT of a DJ (in the modern sense) reminds me of Stuart. . .

#7 Dang, I go trolling and I get skunked! I guess I'll have to try different bait next time
