A while back I ran a post called you have what? This is a slight variation on that topic. Dig deep and tell us some song or artist/band that you really like, but no one would believe you. Come on! Fess up!

    I will even go first....

An artist that I love listening too is none other than Tom Jones. I don't know what it is, but I love his music. My wife thinks I am nuts, but if I ever go to Las Vegas, I am going to see Tom Jones.

Suprised? See how fun this is..... :-)

How far in the closet are we to dig?

For now I'll be kinda safe and go with 2unlimited. I always shy away from techno but I own a cd of theirs, it really gets me pumped when Im doing house work and no one is around. I keep this cd hidden lol

This isn't a suprise to anyone that knows me - because I listen to the song allllll the time but I dig Kung-fu Fighting. With the epicenter it really bumps in my car too 😀

    Tom Jones

Man I read that and all I can hear now is :It's not un-usual to love someone......

Man that made me laugh out loud.....

Hmmmm strangest for me might be Dwight Yoakam but that's not to bad, just country.....

I know alot of WWII era musicians but don't have any Tommy Dorsey, Henry Red Allen, Billy May.
Dad still listens to them (WWII AMerican vet.)

How about old OLD blues Robert Jhonson, Ella James, Leadbelly

    Any of them count?

Ummmmmm, does anyone really not know Prince???? You know Bubba that gives us all some very, very, valuable insight on you... 😄

And if I'm not mistaken I have a Tom Jones version of that song also! 😛 I will have to look.

    *edit*

Yes I do have a Tom Jones version of that song. And I have been thinking and there is something way more embarrassing than Tom Jones that I like.... OK here it is:

One of my favorite albums is the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing. *forehead slap*

Even more embarrassing than that is my favorite song on that album... It's called "She's like the wind".

15 Brownie points to whoever can tell us who sings that one... 😄 (without using Google) 😛

    MMMMMM BROWNIES

Richard Marks, or Marxx or however its spelled? Just a guess since I'm not allowed to google 🙁 hey can we use metacrawler? lol

Christopher Cross comes to mind.... Richard Marx?

AWWW. Atomm.. Mr. Gamers Radio and you don't know??? OK, Richard Marx is an excellent guess on y'alls part, the style is very close.

But it is none other than the film's star himself. Patrick Swayze.

I don't know if anyone can top that one.... 😳

I do believe you're right Sindy. Unless someone admits to enjoying the music of William Shatner or Steven Seagal 😄

Hey, but I do like David Hasslehoff..... 🙁

    NOT!

so, here's a link to Amazon.com where you can listen to a sample of the song. It's really the melody and music that I like, not the singer... 😄

    She's like the wind

    Enjoy!

Oh, and you have to scroll down the page a little bit to where it says listen to samples.
