24 Season 6

Starting a topic to discuss the new Season 6 of "24"

It premiers this Sunday and Monday, two nights, two hours each.
I already seen them but won't say anything 😉

No real spoilers but I will say.....see below

It starts out a bit weird with the feeling of simply being dropped in it. Maybe it was just me 😉

It then levels off and looks to be another GREAT season.

You do know they are going to kill Jack this year, right?

I made it about half way through last year before I just lost interest. Not sure if I will watch it this season or not.

That is a shame. I can honestly say it is the best show on TV. A bit unbelievable at times but always holds your interest.

'Dexter', 'The Shield', 'Heroes' (not necessarily in that order)all out-do '24', imho, but no doubt '24' is compelling TV.

I used to like the show, but the formula is getting a bit stale. Something bad happens, Jack is in the middle of it, he does some "not nice" things to people, they talk which leads him to other bad guys whom he does "not nice" things to until you get to the boss bad guy. Don't get me wrong, I really like the whole tell the story in one season aspect of it and I wish more shows would go that direction. I just think that I'm done with Jack Bauer. Who knows though, I could watch it on Sunday and get sucked in again 😀

I guess it is a bit of the same in that regard but then again, most shows are.

The thing that bothers me the most in 24 is the SEVERE lack of any kind of real security. I mean someone in the white house is not who he says he is and there is always someone in CTU that is a bad guy feeding info to the other bad guys. COME ON!!! 😉

I am going to say one thing though. The 4th episode's last 15 min is MUST see. I still cannot believe they happened.
