Advance in engine design

I wonder if it will be overly complicated and more prone to breakdown.

I read it, but I'm not so sure about it. 15-20% efficiency doesn't sound that great.... The way it uses everything sounds cool, but it really seemed like this engine was geared towards big rigs... Even the picture was a huge damn engine...

Progress is seldom big leaps. Usually, it's little steps. . . and I thought it was a 15-20% increase in efficiency.

that's really interesting. an increase of 15-20% would be huge - iirc most ICE are at about 20% right now.
