The guy in the article, taken out of context, sums up how I feel:

"I took pride in the fact that the Steelers didn't need anything but their hard-core fans. No cheerleaders or gimmicks. No Hollywood stuff. Pittsburgh is all about old-school."

Sadly, he added this, "But now I think this is a good idea." 🤦

I'm giving up on the Pirates. I mean, completely. The next thing I bring up around here about them will be major firings in the organization, or the sale of the team. Even the message boards have turn to shit now, with e-thugs and egos that walk like men. They were the last thing I got anything out of from the Pirates, so, finally, I'm done.

At least football season is around the corner.
