    If I remember correctly, this is where Saint is from. I thought it would a good way for us to get some insight into what life is like for her.

    Besides being The Azore's, I love this show. It's about the food, the people and the parts of the country that the tourist's would ignore. It's worth checking out.

    Oh yah...

    that guy is running out of luck, wants to die, hurts himself when crashing with a quad,
    gets help from a local hospitality nurse.

    Ha. That CAN only be here... !!!


    For sure the food is 1000 times better on the northern equivalent to our islands than the crap you can find in local supermakets and restaurants here. Here you have to know exactly where to go and what to order or buy.
    If not you end up with frozen fish and veges. Behhh.
    & the Portuguese are EXCELLENT gourmets cooks.

    They just love fresh stuff. They prepare it sooo tasty. Lots of BBQ grilled meat and crayfish and Mmmmhh...
    I have to go and see what I can find in my fridge....

    Bah, I missed it. I saw the title of the thread and said, "So effin' what? Adam's a little with these cooking shows". . . I didn't know it had a (tenuous) connection to someone in the forums.

    Would've been cool to see footage. The photos make it look like a paradise.
