Any Good DVD's?

Since I have been watching a lot of DVD's lately and I am almost out of first run options, does anyone have any off the wall recommendations? Like Sundance or Indie stuff that is worth seeing?

I rented the Big Empty the other day and really liked it. I don't think it would appeal to everyone, but it was entertaining.

You may be interested in "The Cuckoo", if you've not seen it already. Check the trailer at http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/the_cuckoo.html It is set in WWII Finland and its about an SS sniper, a Russian soldier and a Lapp woman- all speaking their own languages and not necessarily understanding eachother.

Brazil - One of my favorite movies that a lot of people just don't get... A must see IMO...

I've heard of Brazil. I think I've seen the trailer on another DVD. I'll check it out.

The Cuckoo sounds really intersting. I'll look for that as well.

Any other suggestions?

I watched the Cuckoo. It was interesting. It wasn't what I expected, but I enjoyed it. I'll find Brazil next. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I've seen a few of those LoU. Watched Big Fish a few weeks back. It was really cool. It's a great story.

Cannibal The Musical... Hmmm... That sounds, well, interesting....

Cannibal the Musical is the first movie from the South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Its based on the story of Alfred Packer, but it has hilarious songs, very cheesy gore, and alot of inuindos.

You will either love it, or think its the most retarded movie ever. Depends on if you get what they are trying to do. :twisted:

Also if you like it, watch their second movie called, "Orgazmo"

Wow! I thought Orgazmo was the first. I've seen Orgazmo. I'll have to check this out.

Yup, there are few and far between that have even heard of Cannibal. G-Fresh the Gangsta Sushi bar owner from Orgazmo, is a Indian Chief in Cannibal. Chinese Indians are very funny.

My favorite line.

"You do not believe we are....Indians?? Look at alllll the T-Peas we have, because, We are.....Indians!! 🙂 "
