    I installed these over the weekend. Haven't seen any noticable change in performance. One issue that I have had is with the new Catalyst Control Panel which is .NET based. When I go to shutdown the PC, the damn thing always hangs. When the new Omega's come out based on the 4.9 Cats, I will probably ditch the Control Panel if I can.

    Weird I saw a performance increase and I don't have that issue.

    that's because u r 1 133t haxor!

    I am sure it's just something with the way I have it setup, but haven't had time to look into it too much. The Control Panel adds another process that eats RAM and that I have to kill before playing BFV so I am likely going to make it so that it doesn't start up.

    Drivers based on .Net? OMG! The world is coming to an end. Yet another reason to avoid ATI. 😛

    Atomm I don't think the drivers are .NET based, just the control panel application.

    yeah just the control panel. They also offered a control panelless version which i got that worked fine, didn't see any better or worse performance.

    I upgraded as well and havent seen any performance changes. I think its a dud lol
