I have never listened to audiobooks, but with the long trip, I decided to give it a try. The book I picked was Eragon. I must say, it was not only a very good story, but I found I liked listening to it. I love to read books, but I never have time. Now, I can get back into them without trying to figure out how to make the time.

As for the book I picked, it is titled Eragon. It started off slow, but in the end is was very engaging, taking me back to my early teens when I first read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. If you are a fan of these books, I suggest checking out Eragon and book 2, Eldest. If nothing else get the Audiobook version. :-)

    Audio books Suck/Rock!

    what?

Yeah I love em, but lat time I went cross country, I was so engrossed in the book, I lost my situational awareness while driving and started picturing the action in the book.....
    Bad... very bad. They suck.

When I was working second shift about 45 min from my house I was worried about falling asleep on my way home at night. One day I bought some Spoken word to keep me awake. It kept me engaged enough to stay awake, but not so engage I was day dreaming.

What I bought was Henry Rollins. I love his spoken word. Went to a spoken word concert of his a few weeks back it had me crying twice it was so damn funny
