Damn shame.. I waited YEARS for them to remake this show and it started out havign such HUGE potential, great cast wonderful special effects and they tried to keep it real and grity the way I always wanted a Sci Fi show to be. Then it just got weirder and weirder.. I blam the writer, no doubt. They are all frackin clueless...... E gad it is almost up there with Andromedia and don't get me started on that one......

Well I always kinda figured Starbuck was one. Didn't expect the scorched earth bs tho.

FYI, Starbuck was not the final Cylon. Did you watch it until the very end?

Starbuck's situation is very much a mystery.


I put the blame on Ronald Moore. He's pulling the same crap that he pulled on Star Trek Enterprise. He's politicizing the show using current events. I don't want current events in my SciFi. I want entertainment.

Sorry, I should have used 'spoilers', but I didn't. Paladins msg threw me off a bit. ;p

I guess no body would have liked to see my version of '24' this year 🙂

First, what's with the quote from Bubba talking about mapping in Zork? Feels like a forum SNAFU. . .

Second, Starbuck being the final Cylon is what sent you over the edge? She's had a flashing neon sign over her for a season-and-a-half that spelled out:

That's about a couple dozen notches down the list of things that bugged me. I can't think of too many right now, BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT FIVE YEARS YOUNGER THE LAST TIME THEY BROADCAST AN EPISODE!

And I think Atomm's right, I think Ellen Tigh is supposed to have been the 5th cylon, as much as I can tell from the weirdness I just watched. Did your TiVo cut off the ending? What Starbuck is. . .hell if I know. I'm getting a (speculation) time travel vibe off all of this, but I could easily be wrong. This show is just weird and depressing. Nothing they do works out, no one is dependable, or is even who they seem to be, and they pull weird-ass shit out of their hat. I don't even like anyone on this show anymore.

What is it, 9 more episodes before we put this show behind us? I'll stick it out, what the hell, but I haven't really LIKED it since maybe 2007.

I had not heard of the plan, so I RTFG!

It appears to be an out of sync movie that relates more to the original mini-series and seasons 1 and 2. Kind of strange how they make a movie like this after the fact.

I've been racking my brains trying to figure out the Kara thing and Doc, you may be on to something.

I really thought it was going to be a zinger like the THE battlestar was Cylon 5 - or something stupid along that line.

Never saw her as 5 - sure does F Tigh up even more now don't it. Hated them, killed a conspire, fond he is one, now finds he killed one......

Add to that they have been together through out time and it makes what Thigh did even more gut wrenching.
