Between n00b and l33t

    What comes between n00b and l33t? I am looking for a short techie kind of word that is better than a n00b, but not quite enough to be l33t.

    Good luck with that. Slang doesn't let itself to words like "average" or "journeyman". Modern slang is all about extremes.

    Anyway I disagree.There are more degrees.

    My order is like this.

    Uber is tops and can be used to describe other titles like the word ultimate
    My list is as follows.

    uber leet
    uber
    leet
    uber dcent
    dcent
    lamer
    uber lamer
    n00b
    Uber n00b for the extreme Ahole.

    Paladin. I actually only needed 3.

    However, I really like the list you have put together. Do you think it could be expanded a bit further? We do not have any ranks on the forums for public users and I would like to use your list.
