    (Sigh) What can you do?

This was supposed to be a place where we could post our bargains, but these links belong here as well.

This is why I refuse to go shopping from the Friday after Thanksgiving to Monday. People are rude, nasty, obnoxious, numerous, and VIOLENT. I said for years that having to work retail at Christmas ruined the holiday for me.

Its so pathetic in so many ways. There is no stupid toy or gadget worth it. Why people sit outside stores days in advance for Iphones or the night before some made up black friday event is beyond me. I just ignore the stores.

I debated going out this morning. Staples is like a 5 minute drive for me. I decided to sleep in instead. Only thing I bought today were some Lindt chocolates.

I was keeping track of BFSs from a couple of internet sites. I just ordered what I wanted yesterday, although last week newegg had my TV for a pre-friday price. I spent so much today I may feel ill later though.

Got some good deals tho, 42" LCD $500, 125 Tomtom GPS $99, sata 1/2T hd's for $58. I missed out on laptops this am tho. I got up at 5.30am and had my order placed by 6 but missed out on the 50 they had for sale, a 8.9" notebook for $179... oh well ;p

Oh, L4D is at Circuit City for $39 btw, BioShock $10.

Well I waited a week to see if Newegg was going to have a better price on the PS and the video card - nope.

BTW Bubba I did give your power supplies a good look, but the card I bought needed 30A on the 12v rail and did say that 2 15A drops to the card were not as good as a single 30A drop, so I went with the PC Power and Cooling.
(The supply has a single 60A 12v rail)

Reading the users manual online at Sapphire specs call for 30A on the 12V dc line.
That's why I went with the PS I bought.

Changed my mind from the PowerColor to the Sapphire because Sapphire is the tier one manufacturer for ATI, and they manufacture ATI's cards for them. Where as PowerColor (which by the way needed 27A) is a second tier manufacturer and not recognized by ATI on thier main web site as a "Legitimate reseller" of ATI products.

LOL Yah well like I said, company is paying for and I have to OK to do it, might as well.
I don't think anyone is going to build another better AGP card, so I might as well max it out before the new PC arrives in January - there letting me keep this one as a spare also.

AGP the slot that keeps on living. I remember saying I thought a card would be the last AGP, that was in 2006, I would guess you are closer to right than I was ;-)
