This one's gonna sting. I wonder how many other refs are implicated, and if they'll try to keep it under wraps for damage control.

Just another day in the NBA. I haven't paid attention to the NBA since Jordan retired the first? or second? time. I can't even remember the last time I watched a game. Part of it is also because the Celts have basically sucked since Bird and crew retired.

I f-in hate basketball.

Seriously I do understand what this means to sports in general. It never looks good when a player, let alone a referee, does this.
It just goes to show you that people are generally greedy beings and things like this will happen. I guess the only hope is having even more strict rules that it hopefully makes people think twice before indulging in their "hobbies"

Well this guy got into debt with the wrong people (aka the mob) and they forced him to throw point spreads in game. Right now this is about the worst thing that can happen to the NBA because there were already allegations (unfounded) that the NBA was fixing games so that particular teams moved through the playoffs. Just another black eye for a league that is fast becoming obsolete.
