Case Hunting....

I smoked the front fan in my server box a month or so ago and really stunk up the place. Much time later and a new fan the poor ole box still reaks from time to time. I haven't cleaned the dustbunnies out which would probably take away my problem (hoping it isn't the mobo but then again I've had no problems with the system itself)

So, what I was thinking of was replacing the case with something more appropriate. Right now I have a tower laying on it's side (as you can see in the pic below). I was thinking of a cube or a desktop config. I'm not to fond of the desktop config. My server is a micro-atx form factor 4 exp slots. I found this but my problem is it comes with glowing blue 120mm fan and I think blue glowing powersup fan. My server has all green already. But that is easily swapped.

But then again, I may just clean out the dust bunnies.

Then again, maybe i'll take one of my old cases, hack it up and make a custom case? Hmmm....

In case you are wondering, he has 3 pc's in that pic and 2 monitors... look just right of the joystick under the monitor stand and you will see my KVM. Left monitor is dedicated to the gameing box (bottom right) and the right monitor is shared between all 3. In that pic both are on the game box. :-)

Nice setup, I say mod your own, it's fun and in the end you get pissed off with it, throw it out and buy a nice shiny one!

Mod definitely..

I'll be undertaking my own case mod project once I'm done with this semester and into winter break.. give it a wolverine theme.. complete with the 3 slash marks on the side of the case.. its gonna be bad arse and resemble the Cover of the epic Issue #50..
