Oh and BTW, I finally got out of the car! I think I'm just gonna stay in the closet though. Those games make my brain hurt. -

I admit the closet is a pain. I got so far and clicked everything but cannot seem to find the next thing to move on. I am missing somethig but nothing combines anymore and nothing else to be found and I clicked all over the place 😉
So I just gave up for now....
The car was not too bad overall.
I love this type of thing.
Anyone here into Interactive Fiction? Think Zork type games 😉
I have tons of these on my Treo 😉
There are some really cool novels that are in IF format. Some cool stuff. It is reading a good novel with the interaction. -
#16 ha Zork was great -
#17 Agreed. Zork was the reason I just had to get that first Commodore. It was so fascinating back in the day. -
#18 I played Zork with a friend on his Apple IIc and a nice green crt. I didn't get to play through it very far.
I did play through Zork II and actually enjoyed it.
Never made it to the rest.
Silent, can you link the other two? -
#19 I have an emulation of the 3 original zorks, I can post them here they are real small .exe like 15k I think -

I have the original z code, probably the same thing. You can get z code "players" for almost any platform. As I said I have them all, including all the Zork's on my treo.
Funny the show CHUCK last night referenced Zork. 🙂
There are also a ton of other IF games/novels. Cool stuff if you are willing to use your imagination. -
