Colin Powell Best VP For Either Side?

    It was interesting that Colin Powell was the top VP Candidate for both the Republicans and the Democrats. Even Stranger, Al Gore was number 2 for the Democrats. Condoleezza Rice, Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney all tied for second for the Republicans.

    This morning on NPR, they had a story about whether or not Colin will endorse Obama or McCain and made the comment that Colin Powell has always referred to himself as 55% Republican.

    What do you think? Would Colin Powell swing your vote to one side or another? I'd love to see him run with McCain. I think it changes the whole race dynamic, which I think should be a non-factor anyway.

    I like Powell, I guess I wished he had stood up to Bush when he felt the administration had gone wrong. To some extent he did by resigning, and who knows how long he was the dissenting voice in the room before 'resigning'.

    I think the fact that he resigned says a lot about him. I feel like he thought it was the right thing to do at the time. A lot of very intelligent people felt that way. But at some point, he came to the conclusion that it was a mistake and he did what he had to do to address that as well.

    He wasn't making a point...he was just saving his political career for something down the road if he so chooses.
    I've always liked Powell and still believe he'll be the 1st black president someday. (You see where I stand now)

    BUT I'M VOTING FOR EPHIL ANYWAY SO IT DOESN"T MATTER!!!

    I would FULLY support all of the US being on Central Time and removing Daylight Savings as well...
