The last time I watched a Zombie flick, I was 14. It was the summer and my two best friends and I went to the video store and picked up Night of the Living Dead or Return of the Living Dead. I can't remember which, but I do remember they wind up in a morgue, fighting off the Zombies.....

That has been ages ago and I have yet to see another Zombie flick, not counting Shaun of the Dead. Which is as much a comedy as a Zombie flick. It wasn't that I didn't like them. I actually do like them. However, the endings left me with such a feeling of utter despair that I could not bring myself to watch another one, no matter how much I liked them.

So, this weekend I am at my folks, no computer, sleeping on the couch and bored. They have something like 1.5 Million cable tv channels and Dawn of the Dead was just starting. I didn't realize what it was at first and got sucked right in.

All I can say is this was a great Zombie flick with some really cool twists. They had a lot of the original film members adding another cool twist. If you dig this kind of stuff, then you gotta watch this movie. Just make sure you watch it until the very last credit rolls because the movie doesn't end until it ends...... 😈

Even though it is borderline cheesy B movie, it's a Zombie flick. What do you expect? I give it:

    💀 💀 💀 💀

See just another reason to love Pittsburgh man! 🙂

Conceived, written and filmed here. 🙂 It was filmed in Monroeville Mall. I go there all the time 🙂

Romero is from here as well as Tom Savini who i think did the makeup for that one. I am unsure though 🙂

Atomm... How could not watch Zombie movies? Sheesh... I liked the original and the remake. The original had some of the best special effects ever. There is this one scene that is forever burned in my mind of the Zombies digging this guys intestines out and eating them... TASTY! But for the time that it was filmed it was awesome!
