Yah this Dexter char is creepy. Strange cast of chars around him also. First 4 shows however keep you coming back to see where he ends up next week 🙂

I think I have a good idea who the killer is on Dexter now.

Cool, theres a possibility it's one of the on-air cast? I thought it would be just some off-screen guy who ran across Dexter 'in the act' and stalked him.

I've missed something like 3 episodes. I have to catch up now and see what's going on. Fortunately, they're sitting on my HD 🙂

    Open DEXTER speculation follows

I have two guesses on who the ice truck killer is, (assuming it's anybody we've seen yet) and I'm not sold on either:

    1. The Dr that was helping the amputee. Seemed like they lingered on him a bit much and he would be skilled in amputating. . .and I thought the actor a bit too good-looking and charismatic to have a 2-minute throwaway part. . .

    2. Possibly. . .the oriental crime-scene dude. No evidence, just a guy who seems odd, skilled in evidence-gathering and how to avoid leaving evidence, and with no obvious social connections. Worried about the rats a lot-maybe to put off suspicion that he ever would be there willingly.

It's not the hispanic cop, it's not the nasty black cop, or anyone else at the station. . .I don't see it being Dex's girlfriend's ex, either, he's a crackhead/abusive personality, not a serial killer that likes to play head games.

It COULD be the obvious guy, the dog-walker, but it's no stretch to guess the obvious guy!

Here are another couple of possiblities.

    Its Dexter. Split personality complex.

    Dexter's sister.. Split personality.

Someone moved them thanks. I tried but was not sure how to do it and did not want to mess anything up.
You can remove the ones on the LOST thread now 😉

HAHAHAH YES YES YES. I was right!!!!

They revealed the ice truck killer finally. I was right in who I thought it was. 😉

    SPOILER

I am being honest here. I am good at figuring stuff like this out. I suspected him mostly as it just seemed to fit. The guy amputates the guard then puts him back together. I thought that would have been weird... just weird enough 😉

He also came across as a bit....strange..... 😉

Damn that last episode was great. I won't say anything until you all check in.

    SPOLIERS AS USUAL

That was a good one. Dexter finally experienced emotion. We get to see what happened to Dexter as a kid that made him like he is. I hope they explain more later. I am curious who the guy was on the floor and who the guy was that then killed his mom and why. Obviously it was not his dad since he just discovered him. Or was it hmmmmmm

I wonder why the ITK (Ice Truck Killer) tried to kill the detective later on instead of in his office like it looked like he would. I guess too many questions if it was his office. Weird though, it looked like he did not care once he realized the detective had nothing on him. I guess it was too close for comfort. One thing, that prostitute will be killed now I am sure.

The next two episodes are going to be GREAT!!!! Only 2 left this season.

I think I have most of it figured out. The child isn't dex, its the ice truck killer, ie dex's brother. Probably pissed because dex had a better adoption, and they are both twisted. The man could have just been his mothers lover and he hacked them up with a chainsaw, but spared his boys.

Thats my take on it anyways.

LOVED the way he handled her ex husband. That was so unexpected.

You should scarf this show up and watch it. Damn good storyline. I still have 4 heros left myself 🙂

Good points. I thought of that but am not sure they will make it something that obvious. If that is true it will still be interesting though 😉

    Great show though.

I seen him getting rid of the boyfriend that way as soon as I seen the gun.

    HA-RUMPH! ! ! !

My computer went down, and I missed my window to DL episode 7. Itt took me until LAST NIGHT to DL episode seven. I marathoned 4 episodes tonight, then came back to find Paladin stealing my thunder. Even when I calls 'em, I don't gets 'em. 🙂

Anywho, cool events, and I like Lexx's interpretation of the blood dream.

Ok, looks like I'll have to download these.

How many episodes are there currently?

    Ep 10 just aired Sunday.

    Wow.

Finest short-season run of TV I've ever seen. No real WTF moments. . .everything was pretty much consistant within the confines of that universe. Odd concept done well, nicely plotted-out storyline that didn't require too much suspension of disbelief, and the bastards actually made us root for a serial killer! ! ! I'm dumping these to DVD. . .
  23. #23
Yes you were right Lexx, they went with the obvious. Oh well. I was hoping for a bit more there. Still it was a good ending as far as not leaving us up in the air with a weird cliff hanger or something.

I would have had the brother force Dexter to kill an innocent. Not necessarily his sister but someone that did not deserve it. Give him a taste for something like that and see if it is a sour or sweet taste and how he handles it later on. But this is just me. 😉

Wow. Like how nice to watch one season without a cliffhanger. Sometimes I think these series writers have no idea how a book is written 🙂

Kinda surprised I called it so close, but by the 3rd show or so, I figured there was some missing family somewhere in the riff. Probably the best single season series I've yet seen. Your right Doc, its a keeper.

Next year should be funny. Dex has alot of people watching him now. How to control the urge to kill and not get caught should be interesting.
