Has anyone else seen this movie? It was really interesting. It kept me guessing the whole time. The ending was extremely strange, but I still liked it. It must be popular because it's taken me months to actually get it from my local video store.

I also read they recently rereleased it to theaters with 20 minutes more footage. I don't know how it did, but I may have to rent it again.

If you like Final Destination, then this movie is right up your alley. It's not the same thing, but it has a similiar feel.

Great movie! It's a movie that if you dont like it becasue you didnt get... you need to open your mind a bit more. Depending on how you feel and/or how much you know about how time travel is how this movie ended for you. Thats what i liked about it, wasnt set in stone, and left you free to come up with your own conclusions. Gave it 9 1/2 out of 10 Squirts.

Final Destination was another good one, plus they didnt ruin the image of it with making a crappy sequal. I thought 2 was just as good as 1. 9 strokes out of 10!

P.S. Dont ya hate when you write a freakin essay and hit the back or forward button and it all goes away!!! Its gods way of telling you "shut up already" 🙁

LOL. I try to get in the habit of copying my text into notepad before submitting. It's even worse when writing a news article for 30 minutes and something happens that erases the whole thing.

I think you described Donnie Darko perfectly without giving anything away. That's cool. I guess the ending just caught me off guard. I still liked it though. The whole movie kept me wondering what was going to happen next and where is this going.

    What a jerky jerk.

If you liked Donnie Darko, you might like The Butterfly Effect. Similar, but different, yet similar in many different ways. What I like are the differences in the similarities and how they merge together in a similarly different way. Similar. Different.

I saw thsi along time ago and at first i didnt think I would like it. Man was I wrong. I love movies with a crazy plot. All 3 of these mentioned fit into that catagory perfect. And I reeeeely liked the butterfly effect, that movie was a straight up Mind F*ck.

FD2 was pretty much the exact same movie as part one. But yeah, I liked 'em both. I crap on your guy's chests not, I was so sketch behind the wheel for about a month after watching part 2. Really on edge.

Quick trivia: The black dude that they go to in both movies, who tells them about fate and all that stuff, is Candyman. Not only is he the original Candyman actor, but he's playing Candyman in those movies.

So, he's playing Candyman before they kill him? Thats cool. I didn't know that.

Candyman, now there is a movie that scared the holy bejezus out of me. My girl friend at the time and I went to see #1 at the theater. I really, really liked it. We get back the apartment, she goes into the bathroom with the lights out and said Candyman 3 times into the mirror. The second she walks out of the bathroom, the electricity goes out in our whole complex.

I set on the edge of the couch, with my back up against the wall shivering like a scared little girl. I've never had anything like that ever freak me out the way that went down. I almost pissed my pants when the electricity went out. Needless to say, I don't disrespect the Candyman. Uh Huh, No Way!
