Just posting to blow off a little steam. . .

Last several months, I'm finding that when I run across a paragraph with a little info about another story, if I click on it, I'm TAKEN TO ANOTHER PARAGRAPH WITH A LITTLE INFO ABOUT THE STORY! ! !

For example, I read a couple sentences that said I should click here, it's an amazing render of a woman, and it's hard to believe it's not a real person. So, intrigued, I click on the link, and it takes me here:

    http://digg.com/offbeat_news/BELIEVE_IT_OR...She_is_not_real
    (AFAIK, safe for work)

ANOTHER damned paragraph with another damned link to the actual story/pic.

It's just starting to piss me off.

    1. Why not just POST THE LINK TO THE ACTUAL STORY/SITE, NOT TO ANOTHER PARAGRAPH BLURB ABOUT THE STORY/SITE?!?!?

    2. When I click on the link that leads me to another link, where I'm supposed to click to get to the NEXT link and/or story isn't always terribly clear. In the example above, I assume I'm supposed to click on the large bold text that says, "BELIEVE IT OR NOT: She is not real". All too often, this link is faulty or takes me to an incorrect location. SOMETIMES, it just takes me back to ITSELF!

OK, after a few minutes, I've received the message that the 'server is too busy at the moment". Maybe this link actually works, but I still wish I didn't have to play "find the easter egg" when something promises to take me somewhere and show me something.

    Gaaaaa! ! !

    EDIT:
OK, so now I'm being told the thread doesn't exist. Thanks to the handy 500+ comments below the faulty link, someone has pointed to another, higher-res version of the pic.

    safe for work)

If it's a real link, and not a pic of someone's girlfriend, it is indeed a very sweet render. I'm looking for faults, though, and I think I see them. The bangs in front look odd to me.and the shading/skin on the neck and shoulders looks too uniform/perfect to me. That said, I suppose I could find similar faults with a digital pic of a real woman. . .due to flaws in the camera, compression issues in the image, etc.

Funny that you bring that up Doc. I just saw that image today here:

I didn't have to dig for it though as someone (on the PR forums I think) had kindly directly linked it.

She's a Korean actress and is famous there. Not so much here, but that doesn't diminish her H.A.W.T.ness or the quality of that render.

Nice link Sarge, much more informative than the one I dug up.

    Eyyyeeewwwww!!!!!!

Female Porn Stars need to watch out. Pretty soon they won't even need them. Some geek in his parents basement can make lifelike porn. Even better, they can outsource it to India or China..... Instead of Gold Farmers, they could be Porn Farmers..... hehehe
