I am about to launch my paid email service. I know we are all a bunch of cheap bastards and that's ok. I figured I would put it out there and if you were interested cool. If not, no biggie.

The domain is My Other Email dot com. I have been using it for personal email for about 4 years and everyone always comments on how catchy it is. I finally decided to take it public. I am going to auction off the good names on ebay for a fee of $5.00.

I am trying to arrange for 25% of these proceeds to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.

If you are interested, I will pre-reserve an email address for you at no charge. However, if you want to help out, I would always appreciate it. I will let you know when the ebay auction is available.

Again, I will still reserve a name prior to the auction if you are interested.

There will be 3 plans.

$2.99/month - 50MB
$3.99/month - 100MB
$4.99/month - 200MB

You can use our webmail or your own POP client. IMAP is in the works. It is ad free and direct marketing free. I contracted with a 3rd party to provide the email service, billing and support. This is all they do and I like that. As much as I love to be everything to everyone, sometimes it is best to let the experts do what they do best and you do the rest. A guy needs to sleep sometimes. ;-)

So, if you are interested, post your request or PM me. This is on a first come, first served basis. Once the service launches, you will have 30 days to sign up. Payment will be through PayPal or CC only.

I agree it is a good name. I will also pass however due to having way WAY too many Emails already 😉

From my normal personal and work ones that I have been using for over 13 years now, to all my gmail accounts, hotmail act and all the ones I could have with my and my friends domains, I am covered 😉

Yea, it's going to be a hard sell, but I have to give it a shot. I am always getting comments about it when I give out my personal address.

I have a few ideas to promote it. Let's hope it works.... :-)
