I got a look at the trailer and it looks decent. Aside from some liberties with the script (Doom is part of Reed Richards group in space) it looks good. I HOPE its better than Daredevil. 😉

Has anyone heard that Marvel makes more off of it's marketing licenses than on the comic books themselves? Heck, I can't even afford them, much less kids buying them today like I did.
urrg. The first batman was good. Daredevil was by far my favorite comic, and they wrecked the movie. Saem with the 1st punisher movie. I have given up on comic book movies.
I thought Spiderman 1 was ok. They made a few changes to the plot, but I think they made it more believeable (Like Peter not building web shooters for instance, cmon he's a high schooler, the spider bite didnt make him a genius.) Also the whole genetic engineered spider vs radioactive, etc. This made it a lil more in vogue anyways and more probable.
I liked both Spiderman movies. I thought some of the Batman movies were ok, especially if I kept it in mind that it was based on a comic book. Daredevil = ass, Electra = hawt for sure. Haven't seen the Hulk or Punisher movies. Although I did see the punisher movie with Dolph Lungren a long time ago on TBS or something.
The F4 were my favorite comic book superheroes as a kid. I basically read only that comic and the Sgt. Rock and other war related comics.
i'd like to see a movie about The Losers....dunno if any of you have ever read that series. its fairly new but has been liked by many comic critics....i recommend it...course thats not sayin much....
I actually liked the last Punisher. I recognized it was not a great masterpiece or anything, but I enjoyed.
I was disappointed in the spiderman movies too. The first one. Come on, who the hell doesn't know how spiderman got his powers. Why waste a whole movie on it. I was bored. See, the Xmen dug right in and started kicking ass.
I skipped the Hulk. I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Speaking of Comic Books, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow sucked. It was visually awesome, but I lost interest when something else came up. I didn't even both to finish it.

Since this thread has gone terrably wrong, I'd like to mention that Superman V is due out summer 2006. Sets are already being built and the suit and cast has been selected.
