For Shame

As if things were bad enough with the 700 Billion dollar bail out, members of congress have taken it upon themselves to include earmarks totaling 6.6 Billion as part of the bill.

Ted "Intertubes" Stevens tops the list at 238 Million.

Joe Biden throws his hat in for 51 Million.

Hey, didn't Obama say no earmarks? Maybe Joe didn't get the memo.

Either way, they should be ashamed of themselves.... But they're not.

Another thing I've heard all week on the radio is why haven't the democrats in power been trying to lynch republicans via one of their special committees or an emergency session. Apparently they have a lot to hide about their involvement in this crisis.

I'm not sure Clinton is solely to blame for this, nor Bush, although he could have made a stronger case when he had a majority in the house the few times he did warn about this.

Is this why Clinton is considered to be the first black president? I kinda thought it was sending all those millions to build mini malls and basketball courts in the inner cities. According to many its because he pressured Fannie Mae to give 50% of their loans to minorities that should never have been able to quality. Later Bush takes the same kinda credit for himself, disgusting.
