I think I missed starting the past couple of days general talk threads [I am sure one of you bishes know how to start a general BS thread for the day ;p ]
So, another week has past and this one was just full of fulfilling work and then some RL BS crap... But I will not bother everyone here with my RL crap 🙂
Today I get to start on a new project that should be interesting and maybe a little challenging. [This is a good thing]
I plan on goofing off as much as possible this weekend as I know next week is going to be very busy with work to meet deadlines.
BTW... I should be getting back up to playing again... What is the main game that we are playing now?
We've mostly been playing Team Fortress 2 of late with a smattering of BF2 mods (Forgotten Hope is out finally). As a group, I think we are still looking for the "next big thing" unfortunately.
Made it through another week accomplishing absolutely nothing of note 🙁 Spent most of my time in meetings, or preparing for meetings, or preparing presentations. I did get some extra work yesterday when the Department of Transportation and their consultant asked us to do something that usually takes 3-4 months in less than two (bastards).
TF2 seems to be the standby at the moment. Frontlines: Fuel of War looks like it may be around the bend.
Life has been life this week.... Same stuff, different day....

The food's not that great and it's even a bit overpriced, but the animals come alive all around you every so often. Just watching her face will be worth it.

I dont know what the weather will be like, but I am thinking about trying to get all those damn leaves out of my front yard that I have been neglecting for the past 6 months. I have been kinda missing working outside on yard stuff.
We're getting a snowstorm so I sense some shoveling in my future. I think a project planning trip to Lowe's is in the works as well. Kids are on vacation next week so we are planning a day trip to Maine and a long weekend in VT. We are taking the wii with us to VT so it should be fun watching the grandparents flail around 😄
still can't beleive I missed the OKGG LAN last weekend. --Goodness I'm sick of being gimped. yukon round-uop club facility+deep-a$# mud + wheelchair=no. ...just no.
Would have been a lot better weekend to have it this weekend. or at least it would have in my case.
Speaking of which, I'm going to be bored tomorrow evening. Anyone planning online? Be nice to have some old school saturday night fights gaming.
I'd even advocate for some old school gaming. UT2K4, Q3, et. or new school TF2. Heck, I'd even be up for some cod4. Just nothing on the agenda yet.
about 2 months. needless to sy I'm not planning on it remaining that way. Last week and a half I've been using a walker @ work and home, but that is even less do-able given the terrain around the usual LAN location.
as for the cause, i had some treatment issues. sufficeto say i was pulling off too much fluid when I was dialysing each night. dehydration led to atrophy (spelling likely wrong), and damage was done by the time I noticed it.
but again, we're dealing with it. I've not unloaded the chair from my xB in over eight days. It's progess I guess.
