    I love this. My headline is a touch misleading there is no suit. In any case a dude made a video for a school election. Then Viacom used that video without his permission for one of their tv shows. The guy who created the video then links to the viacom clip on Youtube and they issue a cease and desist to have the video taken down. I understand it was at that point a clip from their show, but maybe their show shouldn't steal content, if they are causing a stink about people using their content. Asses!!

    The whole system is fucked up beyond belief. Copyright and Patents have become weapons of mass destruction......

    Actually this is a good thing for him. He should sue them back and would win. They only have a crappy YouTube version.
    He has the original and could prove his case.

    Cease and Desist != Sued
