what do u think is the most addictive form of game? personaly i think for me a game that makes you think your in a movie, like a war movie. COD Expansion is doing a good job at the so far.

#2 For me it has to be the potential for replay. Like the Battlefield series - no matter what you think of the game itself, you never play the same game twice. Other games like the Civilization series really make you think strategically, and that type of thing is really addictive to me. -
#3 For me, it would have to MMORPG's. With FPS, I can play a game, then walk away. With a MMORPG, I could never find a good ending point. It's part of the reason I walked away from UO. It was a bottomless pit that sucked all my free time with no end in site. It is also the same reason I will probably not play World of Warcraft. -
#4 Just started playing the beta for WoW last night... Ummm... It owns me... Sorry... I now longer have a life... It was nice knowing you... I will miss you all....
Gotta go level up... -
#5 I have to agree with COD really sucking you into the game. With headphones turned up loud, low light, and no distractions, it really felt like you were in the war. Especially Jumping out over tha Flak guns and the entire Stalingrad level was amazing.
But actually the games Ive played most would have to be BF-1942 for PC, Tony Hawk 2 for PS2, and 007 Goldneye for N-64. -
#6 MMORPG's definitely. I mean, they design the game to be pay to play monthly. So they purposefully put things in there that will take more than months to do to keep people playing the game. -
#7 Yeah I need to play more ADD games. If I play things like UO I get addicted quick. -
#8 Yeah, I will have to say World of WarCraft is the Spawn of Satan!!!! Ok, maybe not that but... from now on only time I will see the light of day is when I pull myself from it to go to work. I believe I see Sick days in the future. 🙂 -
#9 So, are you guys starting a GRB guild in WoW? Don't hold out on us.....! -
#10 I am sure that we can get into all of that when it goes retail. We need to see how many GRB people are going to jump in it...
What I can say is that it is a hell of a lot of fun. It is a great change from everything else that I play and even my wife is going to get into it. I would highly suggest that when the public beta start here pretty soon that anyone thinking about playing it jump in and check it out. -
#11 As soon as I get my email and I have taken my CCNA, I will jump in. I read it is going to be released Nov 23rd and Open Beta will last up until that day. That will give me a week to check it out. -
#12 meh i will be playing hl2 still -
#13 You will not get an email... That was only for the closed beta... On the 9th, when WOW goes full open beta, it is first come first serve... -
#14 Strange, the stress test beta email I received said I would get an email when the open beta comes up. Technically, I am already signed up for that beta. -
#15 Well, just in case, if you are wanting to join us in there, get there as fast as you can 🙂 -
#16 CCNA first, WoW second..... I gotta have priorities or I'll never get this damn test done. Trust me, I want to jump in WoW so bad I can taste it, but I..... gotta.... restrain...... -
#17 And I agree... I have been up to 4AM for the past two nights playing it... I need sleep!!! No... I need to level up!!! -
#18 So, when's the reveiw going to be done? :-)
If you could write in game, I am sure that would be best. That way, you get to play and write at the same time. I'd hate for you to get out of the game and write a review. 😛 -
#19 I can start working on that actually... I will setup my laptop to where I can do both at the same time 🙂 -
#20 WooHoo!
See, I can live vicariously through you!
Wait... That didn't come out right.....! DOH! -
#21 Review will be pushed out as soon as Open Beta starts.... Until then we are still under the NDA I believe -
#22 Hmmmm...... You sure about that Goose? I remember reading that one of the things Blizzard did differently than anyone else was to not make Beta testers sign an NDA. I thought that was really cool. It's part of the reason I have been posting pictures of the game. Then again, I would have done it anyway. :-) -
#23 We will look into that... No matter what... The review will be created and out before retail 🙂 -
#24 yep u guys are addicted -
#25 MMORPG.

#26 Heck! Make that 16 year old buy you WoW for Christmas. He's got a job right? I mean, I had 2 at 16. :-) -
