Would you mind if I move this to the just talking forum? I think it's a good topic starter and I'd like to give everyone on the site a chance to read it.
Very cool, had heard about it a while ago. I see thay have a Bubba button (lower left corner...)
The two I'm keeping an eye on are the wolf Claw FPS keyboard, which adds this to the left of the typical keys: I like the large space bar to the right of the D and C keys for easer bunny hopping.
And the Ergodex http://www.ergodex.com/content.php?id=12 Which is a completely customizable key interface. You place the keys where you want them and program how they operate.
That wolf claw board looks pretty neat. Might have to check out that one. I have an MS Natural Keyboard that I really like and was thinking about getting a new one.
I tried to use a M$Natural, just like the one you are showing but the buffer or something was slow and caused me MUCH havoc. Went back to my old worn out dirty logitech.
Standard keys here from 1994! Only thing I'd get would be the Ergodex. I think that should be my xmas present! Dam been trying to think of one!
Oh Bad Bubba you big fat pussy: "I like the large space bar to the right of the D and C keys for easer bunny hopping." No hard feeling as I've yet to be victim of your hoppy dance! HAHA!
Ya they are handy. You can program them to be various keys on the regular keyboard. For instance you can tell the G1 key that whenever you press it, it's like pressing the "v" key. Or you can program it to enter certain keystrokes. So that when you press the G1 key, it uses the "v" key, "1" key, and whatever else you want all in succesion.
Then there are three different configuations for it. So in actuality its like having 54 programmable keys.
I will be honest though, its really just a nicety. As far as WoW, its nothing you can't really do with the hotbars, or macros. The thing that makes it good for me is that you can put 18 keys in one accessible place. I don't have to go searching all over the keyboard for them. And then I can have different configurations for things like, PvE, PvP, and crafting.
Its a nice keyboard though. Overall I am very satisfied.
