Good luck with the Big Tuna (Parcells, not our own Big Tuna). He can be a real joy to have as a coach as long as he isn't talking to other teams about jobs.
New England? Is that even a state? I mean, Dallas Cowboys. See, Dallas. It's a city. Now, New England? What's up with that? Are they so unpopular that they have to claim a whole region, just to get enough fans? pfft.....
ooo no atomm, you don't understand. Up here, everyone is some sort of "die hard" patriots fan. 1989 when they couldn't win a game, no one even knew who the patriots were. But in Mass and NH, every year I have to listen to how grea the redsox and patriots are. I quietly call out the number 1914 and the redsox banter quiets. But with the pats falling backwards into a super win 3 yrs ago and again last year, you can't stop the chest thumping. Urrrrggg.
FYI Sarge, I am a 24 yr fan of the Miami Dolphins, a team who since I have been a fan have only had on losing season, (although this year looks promising for a losing season).
Yes they are New England's Team. Each time they have won a Superbowl (all two times so far), the Ownership has had a parade in each of the New England states with at least some of the players. How many other teams can say that even though their fan base extends well beyond the primary city where they play?
And they are probably our only hope for a championship at this point until Steinbrenner dies or sells the Yankees. Not that I have given up hope yet, as the BoSox clinched a playoff spot yesterday. I don't have any hope that the Celtics or Bruins ownership will get their heads out of their asses anytime in the near future either.
I was referring to as far back as I remember. Grogan played like from 75 to 90 or 92 or something. In the end he could barely walk, but was still one tough bastard.

As a Boston native, I'll need to politely ask you to stuff your verbose opinion in your sun lacking orafice. 🙂
