One of the local OK lan guys has a great card for sale for $90.

"Hey guys, I'm looking to sell the 7600gt I picked up while I was at qcon. It doesn't have any accessories with it, just the card. I'd like to get $90 for it. Here's the link to it on newegg. linky "

If anyone needs something like this, let me know and I'll see if he will ship or maybe Drix can help out with getting it to someone.

I'm half tempted to buy this one off of him myself. Thing is, I won't have the cash to spare till a week from monday. still I'm willing to assist if needed. For now my 6600GT is still rockin.

As for the PCI-X thing Sarge. It's the future. Two more years and you'll be in the market for both a new motherboard and video card... if not an entire new system. Goodness knows I'm already saving for the next time AMD jumps ahead of Intel. It'll happen, it'll be a big leap, and the processesors will be cheaper than Intel. As always.

Yep. but right now the performance cannot be denied. Still, I have confidence in AMD. this exchange fo leaps usually occurs... and with the AMD64, usually sticks for a couple of years before Intel get's their act together again.

I frekin LOVE AMD and the fact they keep Intel on their toes. I buy Intel chips as I like them a bit better but in no way am I anti-AMD! 😉
