    So, fess up.... What goodies did you get this year?

    A lot of books, 2 maps (one historical, and one that I created some of the data for and it's real cool), and a logitech mx518 mouse (not sure how my mother thought of this idea, but I won't complain)

    nothing terribly exciting. I did also get some additional RAM for my PC, but it won't work so I have to send it back 🙁

    Cool snag on the mx518 there Bubba.

    My kids had fun though. They are at that great age where they can't quite control themselves over the fact that Santa is coming, but it doesn't mean that they are up at 4:00am to open presents yet. That will happen next year I am guessing 🙂

    Hehehe....

    We did well in the cash department, but it all went to my wife's furniture fund. I guess it's the least I could do after moving her away from home this year....

    That is a pretty cool gift Bubba. Congrats. Maybe now you can hit something, anything.... 😛

    It's not a gift per se, but I got a $25 Gift Card from Best Buy as part of a Rebate Promotion. I also got a target gift card for an unknown amount. My wife agreed to let me trade it out for cash since we would use it for groceries anyway. Then Best Buy put the new Creative Labs XFi sound card on sale for $99 and my dear sweet wife agreed to let me cover the difference from the gift cards. Now, I hope they still have them in stock when I finally get around to checking.....

    The plots I string together to get an upgrade..... hehehe

    Xfi - nice. I sent my memory back today and am getting an Audigy2 instead. Would have gone with the Xfi if I thought I could have convinced the wife to fork over the additional cash, but decided that the fight wasn't worth it at this point. My birthday is coming up in a couple of months and I can swing some additional upgrades at that point hopefully 🙂

    Well I got a 2006 Chevy Impala and a frog.

    And My sister took me to cali for Blizzcon (blizzard fan fest). but that was more of a birthday/christmas combined.

    oh yeah, did i mention the frog.

    DEEP FRIED FROG LEGS

    Med. frog legs (dressed)
    1 c. flour
    1 tbsp. lemon pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 eggs (beaten)
    Cracker crumbs (fine)
    Vegetable oil for frying

    Wash frog legs in cold water, drain. Put flour, lemon pepper, salt and black pepper in a bag and shake to mix. Shake frog legs in the seasoned flour to coat, dip in beaten egg and roll in cracker crumbs. Deep fry at 365 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
