A big HELLO to all the good friends at GRB!

I have been away from FPS stuff for about 6 months (played it occasionally). I sort of had a bad
2 nights with BF2 and it put me off MP gaming. That caused me to stop reading the forums here
and at my clan. I also had to rebuild my computer after a power surge burnt the MB and PSU.
Well, enough of my BF2 complaints. I am sure we've all had times where BF makes you angry.
Now I am back and I really only want to play BF with friends! That of course means GRB! CYA in
    Xfire! 😎

(thought I should post this as a seperate thread instead of Hijacking Doc's "Star" one)

Good to see you back Vark. Any chance you have tried COD4 yet?

Thats kinda replaced my irritability with EA. The same EA that is now running political ads in a game for Obama no less. EA has no shame.

And you were the guy who had no problem with the ads. Until they run one that you don't like.

Welcome back Varg! We'll definitely keep an eye out on xfire for ya.

Nah Bubba, that was Paladin that said ads were ok. I've never looked to give EA a pass.

Are you me? 😀 I could have written most of that, including the burnt computer due to power surge.

I just picked up BF 1942 and installed it. I'll install a few other games before tonight, if I get the chance.

I finally found out why BF1942 and BFV would freeze up on my new computer. It was the dual-cpu problem. Never bothered about it before, but since everyone here is back in to playing BF1942 I finally fixed it. Ready to BF again

Are you running with two physical CPUs? I'm running a dual core and didn't have any issues with BF1942.

Good to hear you have the problems ironed out. Hopefully I'll see you in-game.
