I can honestly say after 1 episode I am completely hooked. It has this strange Lost feel to it. It's part mystery and all the characters are discovering their powers and theselves. If you missed it, then I suggest hitting the Tivo or DVR and trying to catch the repeat. I think they were going to rebroadcast the pilot one more time.

Or get it from the net. Oh did I say that out loud??? 😉
I like it. I said the exat same thing. It was just weird enough for me to really like it! -
#3 I knew you would be hooked. :-)
See, now we can discuss it....
So, what the hell do you think is going on?
The whole who are my real parents combined with the person who was her father really threw me off. -
#4 I saw it and liked it. Seems very sort of Xmen-ish to me except that my guess is that they will be fighting terrorism instead of a mutant gone bad or whatever. -

She had parents?? Sorry I was just into her running around in that cheer leader outfit.. 🙂
Maybe she knows that she cannot be unique and has to have parents that gave her the gifts. Just a thought. -
#6 FYI, there is a rebroadcast of the Pilot on USA tonight. I believe it is 11pm EST, but check your local listings.
Episode 2 will be on NBC at 9pm EST. So record both, then watch them back to back.
So far, this was 1/10th of a percentage point of being the biggest premiere of any new show this season. -
#7 I'll have to remember to set my dvr.
btw, almost finished with Lost from last Season - only the season finale to go 😄
Not going to get so far behind this year....yeah right. -
#8 Lost starts Wednesday and will run for 6 weeks, then take a 13 week break, then start in February with a full run.
So, yea, hurry up and watch it. You'll have time, at least for the first part. -

I HATE when they do that!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG -
#10 I just found this link. I haven't checked it out, but I don't need to. . .you may want to look at this if you're into this show. No spoilers as far as I know, at least on the page I'm linking to.

(sigh)
They better not go nuts with adding net content to TV shows. If I didn't play their little games for "Lost", I'm damn sure not gonna do it for anything else. I don't mind it though, if I don't NEED to read it to understand the show.
As much as I'm on the 'Net, you'd think I'd be into this mixing of media, but not so much as it turns out. -
#11 I hope I am wrong, but I think I've already figured it out.
This is hypothetical.
Siler's ability is the ability to absorb other "heroes" abilities, but he has to do it through their brain somehow. This is why all those heads were sawed off in the last episode.
Here is the kicker. They mention something about saving her, aka the cheerleader. I bet Siler is going around stealing other "heroes" abilities and absorbing them, but ultimately, he wants to get the cheerleader and absorb her ability. Then, he would not only be powerful, but he would be invincible as well.
Ok, show's over, whats next? lol -

I was thinking along the same lines. I said "There can be only one!" while seeing them like that.
Maybe he cannot hurt his daughter, at least right now. -
#13 So you think Siler is the dude in the glasses?
I thought it was someone else.
I figured the dude in the glasses worked for the top secret gov agency that wants to control all this power and keep it to themselves. -

Oh sorry. No I am not sure who Siler is just yet but the dad is up to no good that is for sure.. 😉 -
#15 I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spoilers below
Spoiler Alert-go back now.--------------------
Okay I KNEW that girl with Mohinder was with not what she seemed! Sorry I forgot her name. I KNEW she worked for Mr. Glasses, I knew it 😉 I seen that coming since day 1. 😉
Anyone else see the Bio-parents of the cheerleader working for the dad? Known from here in as Mr Glasses. I knew they were not real.
Wow is Niki dead??? So her hubby and her BOTH have "powers". Now I really wonder what the son, Micah, has... What is with her alter Ego man. She is creepy....
I do not think she is dead but that was a cool scene!
The show is really cool. -
#16 -First Episode Speculations-
My favorite action of the 'sponge' happened in the first scene.. though the 'sponge' character needs one mroe evolution to make it perfect. The scene where the 'time/spacer' finds the writer of the comic book hero without the head.. now we know they all are close to each other by that period so how about a nice bit of masquerade.. the sponge sticks by the super healer girl and absorbs a good bit of her power, with a better knowledge of his powers he is able to hold the foreign power longer -think rogue without the lifestealing problems, and male- so the sponge masquerades as the painter with the future seeing, fooling the bad guys into cutting off his skullcap while he still has healing powers, this masquerade might even be an evolution of his powers by taking the shape of a -hero- as well as the powers... now we end up with a good psychout where the bad guys get the wrong guy..
now I just want to know whether or not the 'alter ego' is dead and the normal girl is alive or if they are going to wake up because you can't kill a reflection? -
#17 I've been wondering if Niki is a bad character. Her actions seem to lean that way. I knew the bio-parents of the girl couldn't be real.
While the show is somewhat predictable, I really like it. So much that I've been trying to keep up instead of saving half a dozen episodes before I watch it.... -
#18 I've been avoiding this thread for awhile now, but last night I got to watch the last 2 episodes back-to-back! It's cool to get a double-sized serving of a favorite show. I wasn't sure about the show after the first episode, but it grew on me, and now I think it's my new favorite show. -
#19 My Tivo cut the very last minute. Did it end after Nikki hit the floor or was there something else?
The Sponge... I like that... hehe -
