Sorry Doc, I thought the thread was about quotes. I was in a good mood just surviving a major fall yesterday and Biden has cracked more than one quote that makes even liberals shaking their heads.
My favorite one has to be "You know, I'm embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?" he asked an aide standing out of view. "I should have it in front of me and I don't. I'm actually embarrassed.", on the heels of berating McCain for not using computers;p

Ehh, I overreacted. I could have let that slide. It does seem to me that there's a difference between, for example, posting a Jeffersonian quote on government, and posting a long list of quotes from a current political figure that you don't like, collected to cast him in a bad light. The Jeffersonian thing would be about the quote, whereas the Biden thing has a great deal of current political baggage.
Perhaps I don't understand what this thread is about. I didn't add anything myself, because I thought it was supposed to be about "interwebs" quotes.
This is somewhat political in nature, but the quote is so "Get a brain moran!" stupid that I had to post it and it is not intended to debate the merits of such a system.
If you are against a "universal" health care system that's fine, but at least don't base one of your arguments on something that negates your point entirely. This is a 3 facepalm quote 🤦 🤦 🤦

Note that it does not say that they fixed it because it torpedoed their own point, or makes them look too stupid to talk about the subject.
There's a LOT of stupid and corrupt floating around that particular subject, and it's hitting me pretty hard. I THOUGHT I was a cynic, but now it appears I was a Pollyanna.
Of course they wouldn't admit that their editorial staff are morans. That would be owning up to their mistake which they clearly did not do. They fixed it in a way so that if you hadn't read the article previously, you would be thinking wtf does this have to do with Stephen Hawking?
