Sorry ahead of time this turned into a long post!
Anyone buying this?
I know that you can buy a million in the new Iraqi currency for $1700 and it's rumored that the exchange is going to be .33 to .45 cents each. Do the math and you can quickly see the size of return that is possible. even at .01 you would have a great investment even if it was worth .003 you would double your money.
My 1st thought is scam but then I thought about the logistics of a scam with really currency. I am now thinking that a scam doesn't quite fit here. So then maybe disinformation to jump start the worth of Iraqi currency. This would be more likely.
I haven't done any research on this and have not invested in this but I have recently found out that some family ( the wacky ones we all have them ) members I have have bought a shit load of this.
The problem lies here. Some of them have talked to my mom which I care dearly for and who has just taken an early retirement to take care of her aling husband. She is now considering buying some of this I believe. (she has only asked my opinion of it therefore...) And now they are talking to mylittle bro who also has cash set aside for remodeling his house.
My honest opinion is if you have $1700 to throw away on a speculative investment without the proper education then expect to lose it.
