Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories

    Doc brought up classic litature and rather than hijack his thread, I thought I would start my own. I've picked a few of these up in used book stores for pennies. Each book covers a certain year from 1939-1963. They are anthologies for some of the best Sci-Fi stories of the year collected from all different sources.

    If you ever get a chance to pick one of these up, I highly recommend it. The stories are short, but they are incredible. I especially like the stories right after 1945. Mutants and radiation were big topics. I read another anthology from Martin Greenburg and Isaac Asimov called The Seven Deadly Sins of Science Fiction. One of my all time favorite short stories is from that book. If you ever run across it, buy it. I wish I knew who wound up with my copy......

    Asimov is one of my all time favorite writers. Him and Bradbury are top of my list. I love his Sci-Fi as well as fact books. I have many of his works.

    I also have collected a lot of his compilation books over the years. I am sad to say I have not read many of the stories. But they are on my shelf. 🙂

    Good stuff. If you get a chance get Bradbury's best of book. it has ton of his short sstories and I just LOVE those!
