Jericho's Getting Good

    I think it's on the fast track with only 7 episodes and it's getting good.

    Anyone else watching?

    Sci Fi channel is showing the first season. I've recorded two episodes but have yet to watch them....glad to hear that it's getting good however.

    I accidentally recorded three episodes of Jericho after something else I wanted to record (I usually just leave it recording on 6-hour mode, sometimes I get lucky, like this time), and they were the three episodes aired after I had stopped watching it. . .so I'm hooked again. I couldn't DL the rest of the episodes to catch up, but they had all of them on the Jericho website. In all, I've seen 17 episodes in about a week! I'm all caught up now. There were no commercials on the website, so each episode only ran ~43 minutes. I thought they had a couple commercials in each episode for the first few I watched online, but I may be misremembering, as I certainly had a long run of commercial-free programming after that.

    Without going into spoilers, I'm pretty happy with the show. One of the reasons I stopped watching it was because it was getting a bit soap-opera-ish for my tastes. I'm very happy that, in the episodes I've just watched, they've done away with many of those plotlines, and some of the characters responsible! Cool.

    Also, this is the first time I've ever watched a series like this. I could REALLY get used to it. No more episodes ending on the brink of an epic battle, or after a dramatic reveal. . .just click on the next episode! Awesome!!!

    I'm with Atomm on this one. This is one of the best shows ever. Its a damn shame its going the way of the ratings, yet american idol or some other sorry arse'd cheap production will take its place.

    Hell 'Jericho' is probably the only thing that could fix the division in America. We just don't use guns... yet.

    At the very least, they are going to try to bring closure to the show.

    I read they were shopping it to SciFi, but it also stated the show had a high cost of production.

    I kind of wish the Internet would hurry up and swallow the broadcast stations. I think we would really find out what people want to see.
