Ladder Tournaments

I wanted to stop by and say hey guys. For those who don't know me, I'm Sevnn (as you could tell by the user name). I've helped run the OKGG for last year and a half or so. I know Atomm, Goose, Breaky and probably a few other GRB guys.

Atomm posted in our OKGG forums about GRB participating in a few ladder tournaments for BF2. I'd like to express my interest in joining you guys for these tournaments.

I'm pretty strong in all aspects of the game but especially with flight/bombing. I'm very strong in the SU34 and am becoming very accurate in the Raptor as well. I've played alot of Commander and I'm very strong there as well.

Now for the bad part, my personnal time is mostly (but not all) spoken for. Atomm didn't post requirements for tournament play positions so I don't know if I would qualify or not. Atomm mentioned that you guys aren't very serious, that you are just in it for fun and that is exaclty what I am looking for. I don't want to get into the political mess that usually follows tournament play.

Thanks for stopping buy. Sounds like you will fit right in. Most of us don't have a lot of free time, and hence the need for lots of guys to cover ladder tournaments 🙂

We play the ladders to have fun. When it becomes painful or frustrating we take a break and move on. That has kept us on friendly terms so far despite getting whupped on pretty badly a few times...

Come play with us when we get our server up. Despite the fact that you know Atomm, Goose, and Breaky, we will probably like you 🙂

Sevnn, glad to have you by. I just got back in town. Let me run this through the private forums and I'll PM you.

We have a tradition. Before we let you in, we come up with all sorts of bad things about you, then we let you see what we wrote. :twisted:

yadda Yadda Yadda...*rehashing a similar statement to Sevnn's statement.

Myself I'm not so good with the vehicles, but Grunt or Sniper are my strong points. As I'm sure anyone else from the OKGG can confirm, I can be a campin b&#%* when I feel like frustrating others. So far my best kits are the Special Ops and Anti-tank. I'll admit my FPS backing is in twitchers, starting with Tribes on. That said I've played the older games, and have my definate nitch of usefulness.

I can concur on Drix's campin skills! A good sniper is always useful! 🙂
