Did you notice the name of the episode? "Two for the Road". . .a reference to the two actresses who were picked up for DUI, and now, shuffled off the show within seconds of each other. As someone said on another message board I read, "Harsh penalty for drunk driving!"
Poor Hurley. . . and poor Anna Luchia! People keep shooting her in cold blood. Looks like this one will take, though.
I read that there are 4 new episodes in a row coming up. I'm glad of that, since the ending of this one would've made for a lousy season-ender. Two ppl dead out of nowhere, and a previously likable character doing the deed.
yeah but they were trouble for the show. Next week they are suppose to find out the secret to the hatches and find the ? that is suppose to be in the middle of the island. and find out why the plane crashed.
See, that means he is not going to die. By showing you that he falls from a tall cliff, they want you to think he is going to die. If he was going to die, they would have hinted to it through other means.... Sort of like the name of the episode, Two For The Road..... ;-)
Alrighty.... Finally, an episode that moves the story along.... I really liked this one... I just wish the TV's showed another hatch.... That would have been a cool twist.....

I was thinking along those lines but wanted to see the "others" someplace. Thought that would be creepy.
Anyone else disappointed with the '?' hatch though? They are there for 3 weeks at a time and all it was is that small place? Wouldn't a normal hatch with some living facilities be more likely?

The Michael twist still throws me for a loop.
If he is not totally under some chemical or physiological influence and was just co horsed to do what he did, the show just jumped the shark.
Even if they threatened Waltâs life and he HAD to kill anyone that gets in the any of releasing the prisoner, he would still have a bit more remorse.
He seemed to do it so easily. He did not even try to think of anything else to release him like aiming the gun at her, he just took the gun and boom. He seemed a bit more regretful on shooting Libby but still. he also seemed to just shoot himself with no hesitation.
I have a feeling he did it to get the rest of the guys to go to war with the "others" because he can't do it alone. Remember, this is a man who is driven to get his son back, especially after "loosing" him once when his mom moved to Europe.
I agree that may be his motivation but again, he showed little remorse for just murdering someone. That is not like him. I am convinced you cannot change who you are like that without something else coming into play. I could never shoot someone like that unless they were attacking me.
I have a gun permit and carry a 9mm and would shoot someone if I was in harms way. I could never shoot someone that was just sitting on a couch like that. Just not my nature.
