Woohoo! I can't believe I almost missed this. Lost will air the season premiere in the 3rd timeslot on Thursday. I'm not sure how many episodes will air this season, but it's a start.

And because they milk it for all it's worth and I drink every last drop, they are airing a two hour special of last seasons finale tonight and a one hour recap tomorrow before the episode.

But what is really cool is the additional info they are adding to tonights reair of the season finale.

The “Lost” onslaught begins on Wednesday night at 9 with a replay of the mind-boggling two-hour May finale of Season 3, which pushed new buttons on the show’s fabled character-flashback technique — chiefly the flash-forward button. Little of what happened in that episode is likely to mean much to those who have not followed the show’s labyrinthine plotline, stuffed as it is with interconnected back stories and sci-fi mind games. Trying to counter that expectation, ABC decided to transform the finale into what may be the first network show with added pop-up context. As Mr. Benson put it, maintaining his literary theme, “I kind of call it the Cliff Notes version of a TV show.”

    COOL!

That is cool. I had seen the ad but didn't realize it was being "enhanced". That will be great for those of us with poor memories...

Man, I forgot how much I missed this show.... I'm excited it is back on, but if they don't get the strike over soon, I'm going to scream!

    Did anyone else watch it?

Ok, so let's talk about the last episode.....

Did you catch the part about the island wanting them back?

Did you also get the impression that they left to save everyone else?

When Hurley was looking into Jacob's window, was that Locke who looked back at him?

And what did the dude who landed on the Island play in before? He looks really familiar...

Yeap, don't know, it was locke I thought, and not sure who that was.
Looks like they are going to run it around in circles again this season. I'd personally like to see them develop a char and tell a whole story for a change,.. just once 🙂

I think it keeps things interesting. I feel invested in each and every character. In fact, I still miss several of the dead characters.

BTW, speaking of dead characters, will Jin get the DUI axe? Seems he was caught by the Honolulu police and charged with DUI. So far, every character who has been charged with DUI has been killed. Ana Lucia, Libby and Mr. Ecko all had DUI's.

I really enjoyed watching the last episode from last season again with the popup info. It was real helpful in me remembering all of the other stuff from previous years.

I really enjoyed the flash forward aspects of the episode. It was interesting that from each of their perspectives they were the one in trouble while the others had adjusted.

The new guy on the island is bad news. I just know it. I don't know if it is him, but the actor looks like the guy that played the clerk/translator in Saving Private Ryan.

    That's who he is!!!!! Upham!!!!!!

I kept asking my wife were we knew him from.... Yea, I think it's bad news....

I'm with you.... I enjoyed the recap of the last episode. I was shocked at how much I had forgotten. Watching Charlie at the end still gave me chills though.....

What I don't get is why did charlie lock him self in... why not lock himself out... or run out and swim back up the the surface with desmond

I said the same thing to my wife. Remember what Desmond told him about this? He said, I'm afraid Charlie, this time, you have to die.

I believe he accepted his fate, but wanted to save Desmond in the process.

Also, remember, he did this for Claire and her baby. The ultimate sacrifice.....
