    Ok,

1.) Insult me as you like. If you are going to insult The band, you should get their name right.

2.) I am not sure if you are implying this or not but know there is no person named Lynyrd Skynyrd or even Leonard Skinard. However the story goes that Ronnie Van Zant, Al Collins, Bob Burns and Gary Rossington were often pestered with detention from their High School Gym Teacher Leonard Skinner. So they named themselves the "Leonard Skinner Band" later shortened to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

3.) I won't admit or deny that I have been in attendance at more than one Skynyrd Concert

4.) While I was 5 months old when Ronnie Van Zant died in the plane crash, it was a sad day in my life.

5.) While I won't admit or deny owning any Skynyrd CD's or albums, I will say that their CD "Twenty" is damn good. And I like to listen to it while working in my garage.

And last, of all the people in the world I am fairly certain that you DUCK cannot call me a redneck... hello kettle, I am the pot and you are black!!

    :-)

And I finish this with a picture and a quote: Duck, "If I leave here tommorrow will you still remember me?"

What The F(_)ck are you talking about Bubba?

Holy Cow! How did I miss this?

I got to hang out and eat BBQ with Lynard Skynard back when I worked at the Radio Station. I didn't get any autographs, but I did get Ted Nugents autograph on the ticket with Lynyrd Skynyrd printed on it. Ted's a riot...!

My favorite thing to do when I was on the air sunday mornings and I played Freebird was to start talking about that show and all the flames in the air, then tell people to wake up..... It was more interesting when you heard it....

So which track were you at?
  7. #7
    LOL!

It wan't a track. It was the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphatheater. This is the place where all bands go to die. Each summer you can see the likes of ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, The Steve Miller Band and many, many more.... The funny thing is this place brings them out in droves, but the bands must be done by dark because the loud music disturbs the Big Cat exhibits just the other side of the fence..... :-)

Yea, I got to talk to one of them. Seemed like an alright guy.

See Ronnie Van Zant was one of the founders of Lynyrd Skynyrd, he died in the plane crash, then Johnny took over his place. Now Donnie, he is from 38 special fame.

Oxymoron = .38 Special and Fame.
  13. #13
Then there is Van Zant who plays Country as opposed to Southern Rock. Unless you live in the South where Southern Rock is slighty heavier Country.
  14. #14
    I believe that is Donnie
  15. #15
I believe Van Zant is both Johnny and Donnie together. I've seen their video on CMT and they are both singing.

    ooo yup
I do actually have one of their cds... not a big fan.
