I was in Bushmaster which I believe closed after OIF 1 and Balad. I've been to Bahgdad, mosul, and Tikrit. As for the Marines I'm not sure what kinda missions they do but for us it varied depending what needs done. Me covoy security one day and tower guard the next. -
#3 I wish you all the luck and you are making a good decision. If you find yourself over there or anyother hot spot be safe and take care. -
#4 Thanks, Chances are I will be, but I still have a long ways to go. 3 months at OCS then 6 months at the basic school then another at least 8 weeks at my MOS school after that. I'm ready for it though. I've thought about nothing for the past year but what I am about to face in less than a week. -

Well nothing against the Army but I think you made a great choice. Their is more pride and love for it in the corps. -
#6 Just based on the limited exposure that I have had with the military I agree 100% on what you just said. That seems to be the one of the main trends I notice about Marines. -
#7 Where you going to be stationed in Virginia? -
#8 Quantico, VA
I'm driving up on Saturday from Nashville.
