ok so i havnt been on for the last 5 days because i went to Washington, D.C. for the 55th presidential inauguration. i am not all that interested and really dont get too much into the whole "politics" thing, but i have to admit that this ceremony was well done and had an (i thought at least) uplifting message for our country. downside to the ceremony - got placed in the "standing room only" section just west of the platform where the whole spiel was laid out. this = very very f!@#ing cold. it was 37 and i stood, jam packed against a fence for 6 hours. all in all worth it.
best part was watching the cops beat down and pepper spray the anti-ceremony people right in front of me. i saw a DC cop first take a picture for someone, give their camera back to them, turn around and club the protestor behind him. quality craftmenship i must say. kinda like a schizophrenic "goodcop/badcap" rolled into one. i digress.
for those who havnt been to DC i suggest going, just not in winter. its COLD. DAMN COLD. but go. its a nice city, everyone is very nice, even the crazy people who do nothing but ride the metro subway...all day long.

and lou, i was only a few hours ride from your place on the way back. had i not been with my rents on the trip i woulda tried to stop bye and say hi. maybe next time.

oh and bush is quality, and his daughters are hotter in person. and one more thing.
every single college intern in DC is HOT. F!@#ING HOT. and they give you hot interns to show you around the capital. HOT INTERNS EVERYWHERE. OMG. I CANT BELIEVE I LEFT THAT PLACE. STUPID FULL TIME JOB.

Back when "daddy" Bush was in office I visited DC. We were actually going to visit my aunt and uncle that lived in Virgina, but when we got to their house they were not home yet. DC was about a hour away so se trotted on over to DC and spent the day just wandering around. I couldn't believe how small the whitehouse looked in person! :-)

Yeah I liked DC alot but would never move there. A girlfriends friend won a trip for 4 their along with a behind the scenes tour of the DC zoo in the Panda exhibit. I liked all of the memorials most.

    Heh, I understand 🙂

I live in Sterling VA. Kinda like a suburb of DC. It is actually really nice here and have enjoyed living here so far... I do miss all of my friends in the OKC area. But I also know that QuakeCon is coming in August, so I expect to see you all then 🙂
